Who are the PPP and how are we organised?

The North Wales Police Force and the Police Authority cover the areas shown in the map below, the SIX counties of Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham.

The Total population is about 674,500 with around 4 million tourists visiting the area each year.

The PPP is organised similarly, such that the core group PPP members for Map showing People for proper policing area divisionseach area are known to the people, the Police Authority representatives and Police Officers in that area.

The Police Authority claims it is the bridge between the local community and the Police Force and that they consult the public about policing in North Wales and do their best to ensure that we receive an effective and efficient police service.

The PPP claim that the Authority have failed in this over MANY years and the PPP only exists to ensure that they both live up to these claims in future!
